Southport Sharks boasts a diverse range of food and beverage outlets, ranging from a 7-day Buffet which offers a wide assortment of international cuisines that spoils the taste buds with mouth-watering delights whilst also offering an indulging A La Carte menu.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: Qualified with a minimum Cert IV in Commercial CookeryFood Safety Hygiene qualificationKey Responsibilities Include: Working in a busy venue with a highly skilled teamKeeping a sharp attention to detailEnsure that food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes and standards.Utilise your creative expertise in cookery to produce high quality meals for customers.Assist in the training of other chefs/apprentices/trainees to encourage excellent quality and production of menu items.Monitor food quality and ensure policies and hygiene standards are maintained, reporting any deviations to the Head Chef.Promote safe work practices in the kitchen.Liaise with Sous Chef, Chef D'Partie, Executive Chef regarding workflow requirements.Preferred Skills And Experience: Experience in a multi-faceted kitchenFamiliarity with the Food Safety ActTime Management skills is a mustAbility to work well under pressureAPPLY NOW
