Fintech Intern

Our team is expanding, and we are looking to hire an intern to assist in the development and testing of our Bot application.
The ideal candidate is a graduate student or advanced undergraduate student with strong analytical skills from a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science or Engineering.
We seek someone with experience in software development, control theory, and robotics who rigorously adheres to the scientific method and software development best practices and is comfortable with mechanical and electrical systems.
What you'll do Ask the right questions to the team with respect to the stock market.Help in testing the real-time control software for autonomous decision making by the Bot and analyze the output according to the given results.Analyze performance from production data and develop improvements accordingly.Evaluate and debug Bot behavior and performance.Develop high-quality code and packages following software engineering best practices.Work closely with the software engineer and directors of the company.Be responsible for automation workflow, training machine learning models, and help in building, monitoring, and improving the Bots post-launch.What you'll need Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or another related discipline.Strong programming experience in Python and OOP concepts.Experience with robotic planning and real-time control.Familiarity with physics simulation environments for robotics.Experience with source control (git).Enjoys learning new technologies, skills, and techniques as well as teaching them to others.Interest in Artificial Intelligence.Must be a self-starter who thrives on constantly improving our Bot application.Fully remote work.Microsoft Teams meetings twice a week for progress updates.Sydney-based candidates will be given priority.Seniority levelInternship
