About the role Reporting to the Senior Specification Technologist, you will act as a custodian of specification quality in the Own Brand product specification database.
You will also: Lead the application of food and non-food specification quality standards to consistently achieve agreed Gold Standard.
Work with Product Technologists and suppliers to deliver the timely completion and review of product specifications.
Support the delivery of Coles' Food Import Compliance Agreement by ensuring specification compliance information is updated.
Input to the development and regular reporting of specification quality KPIs.
Work with product technologists and suppliers on action plans to address gaps against the Gold Standard.
Input to and conduct a program of regular feedback and training for Product Technologists and suppliers.
Develop and support graduates to foster a 'one team' approach.
About you and your skills Tertiary degree in Food Science or related Minimum of five years' experience product development, specification creation/management.
Experience with Oracle, AFGC's Product Information Forms, Hamilton Grant or similar systems highly regarded.
Experience withing retail, FMCG or similar category led organisations.
Working knowledge of specification development and maintenance Confident stakeholder management and engagement skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven Analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
