About the role
The Personal Assistant to the Principal provides professional and confidential, administrative, secretarial, and personal support to the Principal.
The PA to the Principal reports directly to the Principal and provides support to effectively oversee the implementation of the school's Mission, Vision, Values and Educational Creed.
The incumbent shares the responsibility, with the Principal, of projecting a positive and professional image of the school to families and the broader community.
They will possess outstanding presentation and communication skills, strong organisational and co-ordination skills, and highly effective prioritisation skills.
This ongoing position works 5 days per week during term time, commencing Term 1, 2025.
Additional days in non-term time by negotiation.

The preferred candidate
Committed Christian of a reformed evangelical persuasion, actively involved in the life of a local church Demonstrated Christian character that is expressed in thought, word, and deed Capacity to sustain healthy, professional relationships across the school, advocating for shared understandings, equity, integrity, and honest clear communication High-level administration, organisation, and project management skills, including an ability to manage competing deadlines and solve problems, showing flexibility and adaptability in a professional manner Demonstrated capacity to lead others and manage matters with discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism Advanced IT skills and a willingness to initiate systems analysis and pursue perpetual improvement of administration and school systems Experience with a School Management System (e.g., SEQTA) an advantage Appropriate secretarial qualifications, e.g., Cert IV in Business Administration or equivalent PA/EA and/or high-level administration experience and capability Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies Ability to anticipate needs, identify potential issues, and proactively address them High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks #J-18808-Ljbffr
