Job Title: Lead Civil Design Engineer

Department: Civil Engineering (Mining & Infrastructure Projects)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Lead Civil Design Enginee* to lead a team and manage a portfolio of projects in the mining, ports, and non-process infrastructure (NPI) sectors. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
As a Lead Civil Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and high-quality engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
About the Job:
- Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, particularly in ports, NPI, and mining infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to civil engineering teams, fostering collaboration and professional development.
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
- Utilize MicroStation and other engineering design software to create detailed engineering plans and documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, particularly in mining infrastructure and civil design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's ).
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in mining infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in MicroStation and other relevant design software.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
