Technical Director, Structure Responsibilities:
Control and management of the whole life cycle of the projects in the Structure Team Working within a multi-discipline team of engineers, technicians and other professionals to develop engineering designs from concept to detailed design and specifications Liaise with Clients in relation to project progress, decisions and changes to ensure deliverables are met and produced on time and budget Be a team leader to develop and grow the team with P&L responsibilities Attend design meetings, site meetings and all other project related meetings Responsible for business proposal/tendering and commercial negotiations Seek for business opportunities across APAC regions proactively Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with professional qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering or other related disciplines Membership of HKIE or other equivalent professional bodies Registered Structural Engineer is preferred At least 20 years' experience, of which minimum 12 years post qualification experience in design / construction management Must have relevant design experience in building or infrastructure projects including foundation, Reinforced Concrete & Steel structures (including complex connection design) Subject Matter Expert in steelwork as it relates to design and erection of long span steelwork, staged analysis and construction engineering.
Knowledge of construction documents, contracts, cost and programme is an advantage Good interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to deliver schemes to a high technical standard on time and within budget Strong communication skills and confidence to liaise and develop long term relationships with clients to ensure the commercial and technical success of projects Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
