Due to continued company growth, we have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an exceptional leader to join our Civil team as a Team Leader.
In this role, you will provide direct supervision and leadership to your assigned team, overseeing the day-to-day site/project operations.
You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project, maintaining high safety standards, adhering to budget requirements, and meeting all client specifications.
This role includes, but is not limited to: Addressing on-site challenges and implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.Maintaining accurate site records, including daily site diary, attendance, and material usage.Acting as the primary point of contact between the site and Supervisors/Operations Manager.Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.Overseeing daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and specifications.Coordinating and supervising site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.Conducting pre-start meetings and toolbox talks to communicate project requirements and safety protocols.Providing safe and effective operation and maintenance of plant, machinery, vehicles, and equipment as required.Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience as a front line leaderExperience within the Civil construction industry is highly desirableExcavator ticket with experience and White CardMinimum MR Licence requiredA proactive approach to safety and quality controlExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAdaptability to diverse environmentsResults-oriented with a drive to succeedProblem-solving skills in high-pressure scenariosOpen-mindedness and a commitment to continuous learning and innovationBenefits and Perks A fun, supportive, and inclusive work environmentOpportunity for additional training and developmentEmployee Assistance ProgramJoin us in our dynamic work environment where your commitment to excellence is not just recognised but rewarded.
