Excavator Operator

Uses heavy machinery with hydraulic and manual controls, as licensed and competent, to excavate or transfer soil, rock, dirt, debris and other materials between locations or onto trucksSelects and fits the appropriate attachments for the task, such as blades, buckets or scoopsPromptly completes/submits paperwork including daily vehicle inspection/incident reportsOperates vehicles and machinery in a safe and competent manner as per instruction manualReports, troubleshoots/resolves minor mechanical issues, and maintains plant/vehicles to remain in a safe, operational, clean, greased and roadworthy condition with sufficient fuelIssues customers with appropriate documentation and retains and submits fuel/toll/waste disposal/maintenance receiptsPerforms other various site works such as general mechanical, cleaning and greasingBuilds and maintains positive relationships with customers and external stakeholdersCollaborates with team members and management to complete projects efficientlyAdheres to safety guidelines and maintains a clean and organised work environmentMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending training as requiredOther duties and tasks as they arise, as requirements change, or are requested #J-18808-Ljbffr
