Progress with purpose at one of Australia's largest health care providers Get ahead with salary packaging, benefits and professional development in a supportive team environment Permanent Part-Time opportunity Flexible Working from Home Arrangements considered Location - Launceston, TAS About the roleThe Quality Manager will report to the National Quality Lead - Aged Care and work in close collaboration with the Home Manager(s), General Manager, Learning and Development and Calvary Aged Care Consultants.
This position is responsible for supporting the establishment and maintenance of quality and clinical governance systems and processes across all areas of their homes in TAS to ensure a high standard of quality, care and safety.
This includes facilitation of continuous improvement measures by identifying, monitoring and actioning activities to improve quality indicators, resident outcomes and experience.
Some of the key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Support the development and maintenance of the Continuous Improvement Plan to enhance resident care quality.Ensure timely completion of monthly audits, reports, and data analysis at the home level.Monitor compliance with quality assurance activities, including audit schedules, and address any issues identified.Assist in preparing responses to external bodies, such as the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, within designated time frames.Engage with and support National Clinical Governance focus areas, review best practice initiatives, and recommend strategies to improve care standards and effectiveness.About youEssential Experience as a Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse or other Health ProfessionalMinimum of 3 years' experience within the aged care sectorAbility to travel interstate and to homesProven ability to build and maintain effective key stakeholder relationships with both internal and external groupsHigh level interpersonal and influencing skills, including the ability to foster effective working relationships with line managers and gain co-operation in the development and implementation of processes and/or projects.A proven ability in quality management and regulatory compliance using a team building approach through mentoring, support and staff developmentDesirable Previous experience in similar rolePost graduate qualification in relevant areaWhy work for Calvary?At Calvary, our staff matter.
