About the Role As a Subcontractor Truck Driver & Installer with Victorian Temporary Fencing (VTF), you'll play a crucial role in delivering, installing, and removing temporary fencing and hoarding for high-profile construction, event, and demolition projects across Victoria.
What You'll Do Transport and professionally install temporary fencing panels, timber hoardings, and related products at various client sites within 90km of our Head Office (Preston). Ensure installations meet Australian standards (AS 4687-2007) for safety and compliance. Conduct site evaluations to identify specific installation needs. Coordinate effectively with clients and VTF operations to guarantee prompt delivery and installation. Maintain and manage your truck for optimal performance and safety. What You'll Need to Succeed Your Own Truck: Preferably 8-tonne capacity or larger, capable of transporting fencing and hoarding materials. Valid HR or MR License: Current Heavy Rigid (HR) or Medium Rigid (MR) license is essential. Hands-On Experience: Strong familiarity with manual handling and installation processes. Commitment to Safety: Uphold workplace health and safety standards. Reliable and Professional Attitude: Be a trusted partner for both VTF and our clients. Must-Have Requirements for Subcontractor Truck Driver Own truck, preferably 8-tonne capacity or larger, capable of transporting fencing and hoarding materials. Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Medium Rigid (MR) truck license. Construction Industry White Card. Current and valid Working with Children Check. No criminal record (police check required prior to engagement). Commitment to workplace health and safety, including the ability to follow installation procedures and industry standards. Physically fit for manual handling and heavy lifting. Punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality service. Must have the legal right to work in Australia. Why Join VTF?
