$157k-$200k + super (based on years of GP vocational training experience).
About the roleWe are currently seeking GP Medical Educators in the Toowoomba, Darling Downs and West Moreton regions in Queensland.
As a GP Medical Educator you'll:Provide targeted support and education for GP registrars, guiding them from entry into the program through to fellowship via peer learning sessions, one-on-one support, and practice visits.Collaborate with Training Coordinators, Program Support Officers, and external partners to ensure high-quality outcomes for registrars and practices.Build strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, and practices, tailoring support to local needs for optimal training and progress.Support supervisors with professional development and in-practice teaching, promoting general practice as a career and strengthening rural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander training pathways.Skills & ExperienceRACGP fellowship (or equivalent) and a passion for medical education.Experience in teaching or mentoring registrars, medical students or peers will be highly valued.Why Join Us?Maximise Earnings: Benefit from full charitable salary packaging.Work-Life Balance: Enjoy flexible hybrid work options.Career Growth: Access a robust Professional Development Program.Join a Leader: Be part of an organisation that values innovation and integrity.About the RACGPThe Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) represents GPs across urban and rural Australia, supporting the nation's health system for over 60 years by setting educational and practice standards and advocating for improved health and wellbeing.
