Join something special at Advara HeartCare.Your impact, with usAs our highly valued Cardiac Sonographer, you'll use your skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.Based in Canberra, you'll be providing an engagement and Echocardiogram service for many of our affiliated GP and radiology partners in Canberra and surrounding areas.
Helping to improve people's health and lives and shaping our organisation's future.You'll make a meaningful impact by:Operating cardiac ultrasound and testing equipment to obtain optimal images and support medical diagnoses.Engaging with clinic managers and continuing a working relationship.Interpreting and processing requests for cardiac procedures, ensuring accurate patient identification and history review.Documenting patient conditions, including pathology characteristics, and delivering high-quality patient care and customer service.Building strong relationships with referrers, addressing their needs promptly and explaining procedures clearly to patients.Collaborating with Cardiologists and staff to uphold quality standards, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.What you'll bringTo succeed in this role, you will have:A post-graduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound.A current registration with the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).Sound clinical skills in the field of echocardiography.Excellent interpersonal & patient care skills with the ability to show a friendly and professional approach.Commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of developments in cardiac ultrasound techniques.A current Australian Driver's License and the ability to work across several locations in the Canberra region.We would also love you to have:A mindset of collaboration and continual learning.
