Job Description:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal documents and correspondence.Managing case files and documenting all relevant information.Scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings.Communicating with clients, courts, and other legal professionals to coordinate various aspects of file management.Other duties as required.Qualifications:Holds a diploma or degree in Legal Administration, Paralegal, or a related field.Possesses at least two years of experience in a legal setting.Demonstrates strong technological skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.Exhibits accurate and efficient data entry and keyboarding abilities.Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks across various workflows.Skills:Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all professional matters.Ability to manage competing priorities while supporting multiple lawyers.Effective multitasking skills paired with a proactive approach to task management.Why Join Us?Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Cost-shared comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage.Group RRSP with employer matching.A collegial work environment that values integrity, respect, and collaboration.How to Apply:Apply at careers/apply
