The EN is part of the health care team and utilises the practice of nursing to provide patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
Practice is in accordance with: Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMC) National Competency Standard for Enrolled NursesNMBA Code of Ethics for Nurses in Australia and AWH Code of ConductNurses and Midwifery Board of Australia: A Nurses guide to professional boundariesANMC: Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses in AustraliaSuch care can be provided in any practice setting.
The EN retains responsibility for own actions at all times and remains accountable to the supervising RN for the respective delegated activities and actions.
MANDATORY: Eligibility to practice as an Enrolled Nurse, i.e.
: Current Registration with AHPRA.Confirmed recent nursing practice.Demonstrated commitment and ability to practice within a patient-centred care environment.Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to improving performance and risk management.Demonstrated ability to plan and manage clinical activities as an EN.A current National Police Check shall be provided/undertaken prior to appointment.

Pay: $50,222.32 – $80,000.00 per year
