Im currently seeking a competent and highly experienced Vac Truck Driver to support their various Mackay & District crews.
As a Vac Truck Operator, your responsibilities will include: • Operating vacuum trucks to transport liquid and solid waste materials safely and efficiently.
• Performing on-site services, including cleaning tanks, pipelines, and industrial equipment.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety regulations.
• Adhering to all company policies, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
• Assisting with site setup and teardown, including connecting hoses and other equipment.
• Completing accurate service logs and submitting required documentation after each job.
• Communicating effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to ensure smooth job execution.
• Casual fulltime position Monday-Friday with potential for overtime outside of rostered hours • MUST BE AVAILABLE to work away from home for short periods of time - camp and meals provided including LAFHA allowance The person we are Seeking….
• MUST BE an experienced Vac Operator with min 12 months of recent experience • MR or HR Licence highly desirable • White Card • Be able to work with multiple tasks and work well under pressure • A sense of humour and easygoing manner will go a long way
