2 Office locations: West Office - Henley BeachThe Role: Senior AccountantThis is an opportunity for a proactive and talented Business Services Accountant to join a close-knit, collaborative team.
You will work directly with a variety of SMEs, delivering compliance, advisory, and management accounting services.
Furthermore, this role includes Virtual CFO (VCFO) responsibilities, offering strategic insights and high-level financial management to help clients achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.Provide management accounting services, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable business insights.Assist with strategic financial plans and comprehensive business reviews.Offer Virtual CFO services, providing financial analysis and decision-making support.Deliver end-to-end tax services: preparation, lodgment, and strategic tax advice.Support clients with financial systems, business structuring, and technology optimisation.Build and maintain strong client relationships based on mutual trust and respect.About You We are looking for candidates with:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA/CPA qualification (or progress toward it) is preferred.Ideally have 4yrs+ experienceSolid experience in business services, management accounting, or public practice accounting.Advanced skills in Xero and other cloud-based platforms.Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.A proactive, innovative approach with a passion for helping businesses thrive.Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.What's On Offer?
