Private Practice Psychologist - Work within a Multidisciplinary Team Complete Therapy Group – Avondale Heights VIC
Complete Therapy Group is an established clinic in the inner Western suburbs of Melbourne conveniently located only five minutes from Highpoint Shopping Centre in Maribyrnong. We provide psychology services to individuals across the lifespan, that is, young children, adolescents and adults. Our psychologists support families using a collaborative approach which encourages and empowers personal strength.

The role We are seeking a fully registered Psychologist (with AHPRA). Experience working with children or a readiness to do so is necessary for this role. Experience with autistic individuals is highly regarded; however, full training/supervision is available to those interested. Endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology or Clinical would be highly regarded but not necessary. Be part of a team that embraces personal and professional growth.
At Complete Therapy Group, we offer counselling services as well as formal psychology assessments. Experience in tools such as the ADOS-2, WISC-V, WIAT-III etc. would be advantageous. Training and supervision provided to those interested. Referrals will be matched to the clinician's experience and interests.
This role will ideally suit candidates seeking 2-5 days per week. There is an opportunity to work in the evenings or Saturdays if this suits, however, it is not necessary.
What you'll need Psychologists will require full AHPRA registration Police check (or prepared to obtain this) Own public liability insurance Own ABN (or prepared to obtain this) Medicare provider number (or prepared to obtain this) Working With Children Check Current driver's license (highly desirable but not essential) Good interpersonal skills and a team spirit What we offer We are a friendly clinic that offers flexibility with hours. Regular group supervision and individual supervision Full administrative support so you can focus on clinical care A friendly and supportive team environment A strong referral base Working alongside senior clinicians and opportunities for career development Access to the resource library including a number of psychometric assessments Be part of a multidisciplinary team and the opportunity to learn from one another Access to our online software platform PD budget for professional learning and development Additional Benefits to the Successful Applicant: Allocation of a laptop A $500 voucher initially towards Pronto Office Choice for stationary and other expenses to be used at your discretion, followed by a $1,000 voucher at 12 months. This is a total of $1,500. Early career psychologists and provisional psychologists in their last 6 months of study are encouraged to apply. There are senior clinicians available for clinical support.
