Be part of Bendigo Bank.About the roleThe Senior Branch Manager is a pivotal leadership role within the Community Bank team, critical to the building of a strong, inclusive, dynamic and productive local Community Bank business being commercially focused and community spirited.
Accountable for multiple Community Bank branches delivering tailored financial solutions for our customers.This role has significant people, commercial and operational responsibility and accountabilities that will contribute and ensure a sustainable, commercially viable local Community Bank.
This requires active management of the company profit and loss, cost to income ratio and overall growth.Participation in your local community initiatives is an expectation of the position where travel, weekend work or work out of hours may be required on occasion.This position is located at the Community Bank Romsey branch and supporting the Community Bank Lancefield branch.
The role is permanent, full time.Key responsibilities include:Build and execute an effective strategic plan for your area across multi customer channelsRead and interpret financial reports to effectively manage the branch costs and income to achieve operating profit growthCollaborate with branch leaders to establish an effective sales operating rhythm to achieve set targets and grow business performanceEstablish and nurture business networks to build the branch profile in your local community and create an effective referrer networkListen and learn from formal and informal customer feedback to continue to build and improve our connection with our customersEmbed operational and risk management practices through regular and clear communication on requirementsAbout youProven experience to build a strategic plan for the marketStrong communication skills to deliver clear branch expectationsProven sales leadership through implementing strategy to drive businessStrong relationship management with ability to effectively network and engage with your community and partnersPeople leadership with the ability to develop, coach and manage staff performanceUnderstanding of financial management, business acumen and risk frameworkExperience with successfully leading teams across multiple sites would be desirableAbility to analyse and understand financial reports and statementsEffective and influential presentation and public speaking skillsWhy us?There's so much more to a career with Bendigo Bank than just banking.
