Jack In The Box Toys and Novelties is one of the leading distributors of toys and novelty products to retail outlets throughout Australia for over 40 years.Warehouse ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join the team at our Murarrie Warehouse, with at least 3+ years in the field and a passion for driving excellence.About the Role:As Warehouse Manager at Jack in the Box, you'll oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient, organised, and effective management of our logistics. We're looking for someone with a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, stays focused when under pressure, balancing customer needs with operational efficiency. Your expertise in logistics and strong organisational skills will play a key role.We are seeking a driven, practical 'hands-on' person with a 'can-do' attitude who can manage multiple concurrent responsibilities. This is a very busy role, and you need to be able to multitask.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, organise and supervise all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving of containers, movement, storing, shipping and inventory managementImplement and manage stock control measurements linked to the CIN7 stock control systemEnsure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and proceduresMaintain good facility management and be responsible for good housekeeping in the warehouseEnsure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organising and directing staffOperate and maintain warehouse machineryMinimise damages and dispatch errors through high levels of quality controlPick & Pack ordersLiaise with freight carriersOther duties as requiredMinimum RequirementsMinimum of 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management roleHigh level of computer literacy, being proficient in both Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (CIN7 highly desirable)Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a teamKnowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control and movement proceduresFamiliarity with safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operationsAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks effectivelyGood problem-solving capabilitySolid and current experience in forklift operation and current Forklift licenceCurrent Police Check or willing to undertakeBenefitsBase Salary + Plus SuperannuationAbove Award Salary: Competitive compensation for your hard workSecure long-term position for the right candidateOnsite Parking: Convenient parking availableClose to Local Cafes: Enjoy quick access to nearby cafesMonthly Staff Lunches: Celebrate and bond with the team during our monthly lunchesSupportive and friendly work environmentHoursMon-Fri: 8:00am - 4:30pmYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a warehouse manager?Do you have experience working with logistics, freight & delivery services?Which of the following forklift licences do you have?Do you have experience with inventory management?Have you worked in a role where you were responsible for stock control?Do you have picker packer experience?How many years of people management experience do you have?
