CSO Finance spans all finance functions; we work with Marketing to drive our product categories, with Supply and Ops to ensure we have the right product in the right places, with Sales to understand our Partner Account mechanics and Channel Strategy, manage the organization's Rhythm of Business (RoB), and are custodians of the Profit & Loss (P&L). We chart our growth path in existing businesses and in net new areas for the company, whilst prioritizing creating a more inclusive Microsoft across our products, our culture, and our marketing and every customer engagement.The Asia Gaming FP&A Controller role is an excellent opportunity to be at the heart of a dynamic business at a critical point of evolution. You will play an instrumental role in orchestrating financial processes and business insights, identifying and critically assessing investment opportunities optimizing between margin & share to drive profitable sustainable growth engines and shape the landing of our Worldwide strategy. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance.OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance.OR equivalent experience.Possess solid understanding and exposure in supporting multi-country segments within the Asia region.Preferred Qualifications3+ years experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles, ideally within the technology or software industry.Strong collaboration and communication skills with proven ability to partner, build trust, and present to key stakeholders including Executive Management.Demonstrated experience in problem solving and driving transformation/improvements with the ability to manage multiple and competing tasks/priorities to closure.Ability to analyze, interpret, and explain business results whilst leveraging a data-driven approach.ResponsibilitiesDrive the overall finance performance and forecast accuracy for Asia Gaming working with the Category, Channel Marketing, and Sales teams to understand the drivers and the levers available to influence - proactively flagging upsides, risks, actions needed, and managing the overall investments and Gross Margin.Deliver results through tracking performance, report accuracy, and partnering with business leaders to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results. Manage the rhythm of the business for the area of responsibility including monthly close, recurring business review preparation, and budgeting.Drive key financial processes (P&L, outlook, forecast, budget) in conjunction with the territory teams - be the voice of business partners, champion simplicity, drive consistency, focus & prioritization on what matters, provide objective risk/upside assessment - ensure all of this is delivered within the existing standard CSO finance processes.PartnershipPartner with Worldwide/Asia Gaming to drive cross-group alignment for Investment strategy and priorities delivering clarity on priorities and investments.Partner with Sales and channel marketing to understand cost to serve by priority and partner investments for GM optimization.Share business insights and advance solutions and action plans to drive business goals and short-term accountabilities. Provide credible insights into industry benchmarks and consumer trends to drive growth. Implement creative ways to show patterns and draw conclusions to help drive decisions and clearly communicate findings. Articulate understanding and awareness of business partner situation.Work directly with business partners to translate top-down targets to an accountable budget for each group. Complete and review analysis, modeling, and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles. Partner and solicit insight from business and commercial stakeholders.Facilitate resolution of complex issues. Manage and execute processes through engagement with internal and external stakeholders.ProtectDrive the right tone from executive leadership and ensure strict adherence and understanding of Microsoft policies on risk and compliance. Influence leadership to ensure compliance is a top priority and modeled throughout the organization.Drive a compliant culture through actions and decisions to instill trust. Advocate, educate, and promote best practices and new developments. Encourage asking questions and identifying risks to compliance.Champion Microsoft privacy, security, and ethical standards.
