Networks & Systems Administration (Information & Communication Technology) Full time At Orbitel Technologies, we go above and beyond to deliver premium support to South Australian small and medium businesses. We're seeking a proactive, skilled, and enthusiastic support engineer to join our growing team.
Your main goal will be to make our clients exceptionally happy. As a Senior Engineer (Level 3), you'll contribute to both internal and external projects and handle escalated support requests.

We want you to join us Responsibilities & TasksWork on and resolve escalated Helpdesk TicketsManaging cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security configurations.Creating detailed technical documentation for internal teams and customers related to advanced troubleshooting steps, system configurations, and solutions.Configuring, monitoring, and maintaining servers and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)Performing forensic investigations and identifying potential vulnerabilitiesPerforming root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implementing permanent fixesAssist the project engineer with project deliverySome of your key attributes include:A love of (and ability to) solve problems & challengesGreat communication skills, founded in being a good listenerAdvanced understanding of support tools, techniques and how technology is used to provide servicesAdvanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems and network systemsAdvanced diagnosis skills of technical issues related to end-user hardware & software and network devicesAdvanced experience and knowledge of working with the Microsoft 365 PlatformThe ability to speak both Geek and humanBe an Australian Resident with a valid driving licenceThe ability to keep up with & adapt to the fast-paced IT world4+ years experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) / IT Support BusinessNice to haveExperience using a Ticketing system / RMM Tool and PSA softwareProfessional IT CertificationsExperience/interest in VoIP solutions preferably 3CXBenefitsGet your birthday offGenerous incentives for reaching Team and Company GoalsAn easy-going environment and culture (we all enjoy what we do)High-Powered LaptopOpportunities for career development through various rolesA proactive approach to ongoing training to help you develop life-long skillsAnniversary bonusRegular staff functionsWellness allowanceUniform providedIf you are interested in applying for this role, please send your CV and a Cover Letter to ******.
