The OpportunityAt APA, our purpose is simple: to strengthen communities through responsible energy. We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Planning and Environment Advisor to join us in our Power Planning and Environment Team in Perth on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Planning & Environment Manager, you will provide support to gain environmental approvals for the development of large-scale renewable energy and power transmission projects in the Pilbara.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding relationships with key stakeholders and assist the business to secure all environmental approvals required for new projects.Coordinate environmental investigations and manage specialist consultants deliverables.Collaborate with internal teams to manage schedule, contractors, and environmental outcomes.Manage compliance and reporting of project environmental commitments.Understanding and ensuring projects comply with regulatory, governance, and community requirements.Your backgroundStrong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.Excellent technical skills in environmental science or engineering.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in a similar role in energy, mining, or infrastructure projects.The ability and willingness to travel to the Pilbara, including remote areas.Working at APAAt APA we're committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where you can achieve your best.
