Location ProfileAt Staughton College we have experienced growth over the past decade resulting in an enrolment of over 1500 students. Students are supported by 155 equivalent full-time staff comprising: 6 Principal class officers, 110 Teachers and 45 Education Support Staff. The College has a Trade Training Centre facility built to deliver VET Building and Construction.Our aim is to foster a culture where students develop academically, socially and personally to become the best versions of themselves. Through our Staughton Student Matrix, we explicitly teach, and deliberately acknowledge key positive behaviours that improve student learning, effort and respect.Staughton College is an accredited Select Entry Accelerated Learning (SEAL) school, member of the Academy of SEAL schools, delivering specialized pathways for highly able students.Selection CriteriaSC1: Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills. Demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs.SC2: Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth.SC3: Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning. Demonstrated experience in using data to inform teaching practice and providing feedback on student learning growth and achievement to students and parents.SC4: Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
