Metallurgy with all aspects of metallurgy and fixed plant operations.
Provide support to site-based Plant Metallurgists offering metallurgical expertise for day-to-day operationsOversee small-scale studies and collaborate with third-party vendors to develop cost-effective solutions for plant operations.Actively participate in site metallurgical projects and testwork programsDeliver professional and timely reports concerning study outcomes, testwork reviews and production analysisIdentify and drive change to improve plant reliability and cost effectivenessOrganise, liaise and co-ordinate external consultants/contractors for project and CAPEX workOversee site reagent usage and offer guidance on the optimisation of reagent consumptionActively promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by exampleAttend site as requiredWHAT DO I NEED Minimum 5 ? 10 years? experience in an equivalent role within the gold ore processing industryTertiary qualification in Metallurgy / Mineral Processing or Chemical EngineeringAbility to apply sound metallurgical or engineering concepts in study and design workDemonstrated track record in analytical problem-solving together with an aptitude to problem solvingStrong time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads while maintaining quality and staying in control of work priorities with a steady, proactive approachAdvanced computer literacy and the ability to prepare communication, reports & presentations by utilising the Microsoft Office Suite/ApplicationsSolid communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, and successful working relationships with your teamCandidates must meet our pre-employment criteria which includes medical and drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work checks and be able to provide a valid Australian national police clearance (or be able to obtain).
