Quality Control Officer

We encourage Machine Operators in food manufacturing and seeking to take the next step in a career in the Quality field.

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS To be a complimentary fit for this role you will have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsWell versed in excel and database management skillsProven organisational skills with ability to prioritiseDemonstrated ability to meet deadlinesA qualification in Food Science (or equivalent) or manufacturing experience will be highly regarded.A positive team player, willingness to learn and be reliable.YOUR ROLE Tasting and approval/rejection of finished flavoursPerform lab analysis of raw materials, in process sample, stability sample and finished productsInvestigate out of specification resultsComplete product specification and production documents to ensure compliance to food legislation, Australian Standards and customer requirementsAssist in the management of customer complaints or customers' request for informationMaintain, monitor and review food safety/quality programs; including calibration, verification and testing.Assist the quality team in Certification audits and compliance auditsPerform investigations and Root Cause AnalysisMaintain the lab in a clean and organised manner.BENEFITS Free local gym membershipcelebrate the team's monthly birthday (including yours
