Our Group services the mining and quarry industry across Australia, specialising in the delivery of aftermarket spare parts, conveyor belt services, and capital equipment sales.
Since our inception in 2009, we've experienced consistent growth, expanding across Australia.
We are searching for the best talent to join our team as a Belt Splicer working night shifts in the Brisbane area with one of our large clients.

About You
You are an experienced Belt Splicer with hands-on expertise in conveyor belt splicing, repairs, and other conveyor maintenance.
Your skill set includes both hot and cold splicing techniques, and you are familiar with safety protocols and standards associated with the mining and quarry industries.
You have ideally worked on mobile equipment before, and are happy working individually or as part of a small team.
You thrive in challenging environments, particularly in night shifts where attention to detail and time management are critical.
You're a proactive problem-solver with excellent inter-personal communications and skills.
You can work with our customers and develop positive working relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Belt Splicing : Perform hot and cold splicing, as well as general conveyor belt repairs and installations on-site for our large client at a fixed plant site.
You also have deep experience working on mobile equipment.
Maintenance and Repairs : Carry out scheduled and emergency maintenance of conveyor belts, ensuring minimal downtime and peak performance.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards during night shifts.
Problem-Solving : Quickly identify and resolve issues related to conveyor belts, minimising operational disruptions.
Teamwork : Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations, particularly during high-pressure situations.
Necessary Traits:
Experience : Proven experience in belt splicing, with a strong understanding and capacity to work on both fixed and mobile plant, often independently.
Experience in the quarry industry is highly regarded.
Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
Safety-First Mindset : Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to safety protocols in a high-risk environment.
Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to think on your feet and quickly resolve technical issues, particularly during night shifts.
Night Shift Availability : Willingness to work night shifts on a consistent basis.
