We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Head of IT to lead our global IT operations.
This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction of our IT infrastructure, security, and support functions.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT technologies, a proven track record in leading global teams, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive global IT strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Define the global IT organizational structure and operational model, including a "follow the sun" approach to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Collaborate with regional CEOs, CTO and high-level stakeholders to understand their IT needs and establish effective partnerships.
Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust and scalable global IT infrastructure.
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical IT systems and applications.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize infrastructure efficiency and reduce costs.
Security Management:
Establish and maintain a strong security posture to protect sensitive company data and systems.
Implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks.
Stay informed about emerging security threats and trends to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
Support Services:
Lead a global IT support team to provide timely and effective technical support to end-users.
Define and implement service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality support services.
Foster a culture of customer service excellence and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership and Development:
Recruit, develop, and retain top IT talent to build a high-performing global team.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that empowers team members to excel.
Provide mentorship and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
Experience:
Proven track record in leading global IT teams and managing complex IT projects.
Deep technical expertise in infrastructure, security, and support technologies.
Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Location:
Sydney, Australia, no travel required overseas.
3 days in office and where required as work dictates.
