The opportunityWe are a consumer driven business, with insights at the heart of all we do, and an agenda to drive this curiosity among all teams, not just marketing. Reporting into our Head of Insights, and part of our highly regarded and sought-after Insights team, this new position has been created due to business growth and demand for the team's strategic partnering.
This role is responsible for the collation, management and dissemination of insights that underpin the development of brand strategies and plans for our non-alcoholic portfolio, and to support their execution in the local Oceania market.
Key focus for the role includes: Supporting business performance and growth;Continued focus on building a culture of consumer curiosity and understanding;Ensuring consumer knowledge and insights are at the core of decision making.This role will connect the marketing and wider teams with our consumers, both current and future, by providing understanding and evidence around how the needs of consumers are changing, how they interact with our brands, and what this could mean for future brand, customer and business strategy.
Key responsibilities include: Spark curiosity and inspire the broader team by continually bringing new ideas and examples for the team to learn fromConnect the team to broader consumer macro trends and future implicationsManage brand health tracking programme, ensuring tracking metrics are shared out in a relevant way for key stakeholdersPull together disparate insight to deliver more holistic insightPartner brand teams on research projects and lead research agency interactionWork with brand teams to utilise insight to identify strategic directions and prioritiesEmbed evidence-based thinking on marketing principles and best practice within the broader business teamBring your own flair to the roleWhat's in your toolkit?Proven experience in consumer insights, ideally with client side and/or FMCG experienceExcellent stakeholder management skills and highly collaborative working styleExcellent technical understanding of research and insights processThe ability to think outside the box and look at the bigger pictureCuriosity and drive to truly understand our consumersStrategic planning and project management experienceInnovative, agile and consumer obsessedUnleash your SpiritAs Suntorians we believe in Dreaming Big and Growing for Good.
