The Role Working from our Burnie Campus, we are looking for 2 superstar carpenters to guide our learners to exceed their potential in the industry.
If you have experience in building and construction, either in commercial and/or residential projects, we want to hear from you.
These are full time positions.
On any given day, you will: Engage and inspire learners with training materials and lesson plans Articulate content, providing advice and support to learners Promote Health and Safety practices in and out of the classroom Increase your own knowledge and industry leverage to maintain currency Assess learners through their journey, and promote continuous improvement What you bring: An ability to articulate basic and complex carpentry knowledge and jargon All-round experience in commercial and/or residential carpentry Passion for trades and the drive to lead learners in their careers Project management experience, with the skills to liaise with multiple trades/stakeholders. A minimum Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
