We engineer, design, manufacture and install service bodies for utes, trailers and trucks from six locations nationally.A competitive advantage is something we are looking to leverage as we set up for global expansion that leads us to seek a strong Commercial Finance Analyst who has experience and an interest in supporting a Chief Finance Officer through a journey of scaling up for global expansion.About the RoleAs the Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in transitioning the business through an ERP implementation and ultimately to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making across the organisation.The initial focus will be to play a key part in the ERP implementation team to ensure the system design is fit for purpose from a Finance perspective.You will be responsible for analysing financial data, developing insights, and providing recommendations to support business growth and operational efficiency.Familiarity with a manufacturing environment is essential.The role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
The ability to collaborate with colleagues at every level of accountability and at all locations throughout the organisation is essential.More specifically:ERP readinessPlay a fundamental role in the ERP implementation team ensuring that across each function the Finance implications are fully understood, workable and at best practice.Train users where appropriate.Factory Cost Analysis and ReportingExpertise in Manufacturing cost structures, bill of material costing, variance reporting and an ability to capture / analyse / report.ProductivityIdentify cost efficiency opportunities and work cross functionally to deliver efficiency outcomes.Product performance: Measure product performance, produce SKU profitability analytics and support margin progression across the business.Cross-Functional SupportAssist business partners in sales, marketing and operational teams with the analysis and interpretation of financial data and assist in identifying the appropriate levers to optimise business performance and growth.Develop financial models to evaluate new product launches and pricing strategies where required.Budgeting & ForecastingAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and market conditions.Data ManagementOversee the maintenance of financial data to ensure data integrity and accuracy.About YouQualifications commensurate with role requirements: Accounting, Finance, Business, EconomicsProven experience within an ERP implementation project as a Finance subject matter expertThree or more years of experience in a manufacturing finance roleExperience working in an organisation exceeding $50M annual revenueExperience in BI analytical tools, PowerBI or similarExperience in a Data Warehouse is preferred but not essentialWhat we OfferJoin an industry-leading Australian manufacturer that values its people, nurtures its customers and produces world class productsEnjoy a fantastic workplace culture as part of our team of 350 staff in five statesCompetitive salary and benefits package and professional development opportunitiesEnjoy a culture of confidence and trustPotential for career development in a financially strong organisation demonstrating sustained growthHow to applyPlease attach your resume and a cover letter, addressing the selection criteria below:ERP Readiness: Can you provide an example of where you played a fundamental role in the implementation of an ERP system in any of your previous positions?All applications and further correspondence will be treated in strict confidence.Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following best describes your rights to work in Australia?Do you have a current, valid Australian driver's license?
