As a Communications Executive, you will:
Work with the team to develop and implement communication strategies that spark courageous exploration among our educators, students, and parents.
Utilise innovative online platforms and traditional methods to share our school's achievements, events, and initiatives.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure our messaging aligns with our purpose and enhances our school community connection.
Deliver a high standard of communication and engagement activity with parents, staff, students and other partners.
Be the guardian of our family-facing calendar, ensuring families can easily access details of events and holidays.
Manage the customer data integrity of the school CRM system to ensure the KLASS community receives the right messages at the right time.
Measure and report on performance, providing insights to suggest improvements to strategy.
Selection Criteria:
Graduate calibre A self-starter - able to work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently Able to develop strong working relationships with people at all levels An innovative, problem-solving approach, including in ambiguous situations that require figuring out new solutions rather than following established paths High emotional intelligence and resilience Intellectual curiosity and mindset of continuous learning and growth Additional languages, especially Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin, are an advantage.
A relevant degree in an area such as communications, marketing or journalism, or have equivalent professional experience Demonstrable experience in communications activities, both in print and online.
The ability to work collaboratively whilst also working independently and flexibly.
Outstanding organisational skills and excellent attention to detail – thinking ahead and pre-empting possible setbacks and obstacles Demonstrable experience in developing and executing communications plans that utilise a wide variety of media, digital platforms and channels.
Experience using a CRM system.
Knowledge of Hubspot is an advantage.
