Senior Director, Intake, Security and Property Operations
Full-time TemporaryDetails: The Integrated Facilities Management Team ensures properties managed by Property and Government Insourcing and maintained on behalf of Directorates are repaired, inspected, maintained and upgraded by qualified and experienced staff and contractors.
The team manages maintenance repairs and improvements to ensure that ACT Government buildings are fit for purpose, issues are identified and planned upgrades are implemented.
Property and Government Insourcing has a team of qualified and experienced trades staff and works closely with qualified contractors to maintain the properties.
The team ensures that trades are procured or allocated, and that work performed is up to an acceptable standard.
Property and Government Insourcing supports the development of people into the industry through sponsoring apprentices.

Property and Government Insourcing provides expert property management and maintenance services to the ACT Government and the community.
The group manages and maintains buildings and property that enable the ACT Government to provide Government and community services.
The group supports the ACT Government's delivery of its services through flexible, efficient and cost-effective accommodation solutions and property services.
Community services and support are also enabled through the provision of properties to community organisations at affordable rental rates.
Property and Government Insourcing operates on a fee for service basis with a requirement to provide a dividend to government.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Hold or have the capacity to obtain White Card and Asbestos Awareness.Qualifications in Property, Building Management, Procurement, Project Management, Commercial Real Estate, Business Management or related areas are highly desirable.Membership of a related professional association (or the commitment and capacity to obtain) such as Australian Property Institute, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Australian Institute of Project Management, Facilities Management Australia, or similar association and commitment to maintaining Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and/or learning plan related to your professional discipline is desirable.Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of three months.
This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
This position is based in an activity-based working (ABW) environment.
Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
