Initial contract until December 2025 Flexible working environment | Hybrid Competitive hourly rate This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to undertake a program of office relocations across Queensland within very tight and fixed timeframes, including a significant relocation of the existing Brisbane office from West End to the Brisbane CBD.
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that planning documents, project timelines, coordination and meeting schedules are developed to manage the implementation plan for the Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Rockhampton office.
In your role you will ensure that necessary project management steps are taken to facilitate an efficient, timely and engaging site identification, fit out and well planned office relocation for all offices.
What you will do: In consultation with relevant stakeholders, and in accordance with Project Management methodologies, develop, implement, update, monitor, manage, and communicate key project management artefacts relating to the office relocations, financial management tools, steering committees, and working groups and/or sprint planning.
Perform designated project activities and execute deliverables as per the approved project schedule.
Undertake contract administration with suppliers.
Manage, direct, and coordinate the project team to ensure the best use of available resources and to utilise strengths in key team members.
Actively prioritise activities and issues depending on impact, priority, and criticality.
Prioritise, allocate, and coordinate project activities and identified action areas, and escalate problems and issues to the Chief Financial Officer and relevant Project Steering Committee or governance body.
Monitor progress of projects to ensure that milestones and performance indicators are met.
Identify areas of improvement and prepare documentation to outline recommendations for improvement to the Chief Financial Officer and relevant Project Steering Committee or governance body.
Identify gaps, issues, weaknesses, and potential problem areas which may adversely impact project scope, deliverables, timeframes, risk, resourcing, or costs.
Keep abreast of developments within and across projects and look for opportunities for improving effectiveness and efficiency.
Establish and maintain excellent interpersonal working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure that contractual agreements with solution providers and vendors are managed.
Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and positivity with all stakeholders, even in challenging circumstances What you'll bring to the role: Demonstrated project management experience and proven ability to successfully drive, coordinate and implement large, complex projects particularly office relocations using a collaborative, transparent, contemporary approach.
Extensive experience in coordinating the delivery of multiple concurrent technical projects.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, interpersonal, and communications skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to communicate and elicit cooperation at all levels, including technical staff, management, and external parties.
Excellent negotiation, report writing and presentation skills.
Persuasive, encouraging and motivating.
Possess well developed time management skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and a diverse range of activities, with conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines.
Ability to drive meetings and effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Motivates individuals and creates a culture where people want to go the extra mile'.
Focuses strongly on the achievement of results and builds a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Experienced in people and team management and can work independently and/or in a team- orientated collaborative environment.
High level ability to foster harmony and collaboration among the project team and stakeholders., and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
