About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oral Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in Melbourne's western suburbs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a leading dental practice and make a real difference in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and deliver customized treatment plans.
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, polishing, fluoride application, and periodontal care.
Administer local anesthesia to ensure patient comfort during treatments.
Take accurate dental impressions and radiographs for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Provide expert oral health education, preventive care advice, and support to patients of all ages and treatment to kids within the scope of practice.
Maintain meticulous patient records in compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate effectively with a team of dentists, dental assistants, and other oral health professionals.
What We're Looking For:
AHPRA-registered Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Australian dental practice.
Current CPR certification.
Exceptional clinical skills with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster positive patient relationships.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in dental software systems such as Exact, Dental4Windows, OASIS, or similar (preferred).
