We have an exciting opportunity to join the Opal team as our site in Oakleigh is currently looking for a Dispatch Coordinator to come onboard

The key focus of this role will be to:
Plan loads to maximize fleet utilization.
Process interstate deliveries and ensure timely trailer loading.
Supervise team members, ensuring clarity in job responsibilities.
Coordinate resources, including managing leave and overtime.
Maintain a strong customer focus to achieve DIFOT targets.
Implement and comply with OH&S policies and procedures.
Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations (such as: ensuring the training and documentation is completed by the relevant stakeholders).
Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock takes.

For this role we would ideally like you to have:
A forklift licence and relevant experience is required Experience working in dispatch operations (ideally leading a team) Experience in using Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) Keen attention to detail and quality Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team Strong communication skills and team player mentality Prioritization and decision-making abilities Applications are open to both internal and external candidates.
