We are a leading packaging company with ongoing growth and are looking for a suitably qualified Maintenance Electrician to support our operations and maintenance department within the Afternoon Shift. About the role: This role will be responsible for providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting, and resolution for various machines and equipment within a manufacturing environment.
Duties include:
Performing preventive maintenance activitiesUndertaking emergency/breakdown electrical maintenance as necessary to support plant operationsReplacing faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches & motors, position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners, and photoelectric devicesAccurately completing maintenance records and other paperworkWorking collaboratively within the team and across departmentsIn consultation with Production staff, identifying equipment and areas requiring attentionAssessing and arranging job requirementsProviding daily feedback and reports to Lead on progress and work completedThe successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Electrical Trade Certification / Equivalent LicenseCurrent Electrical Registration to operate in VICPrevious experience working within a manufacturing/industrial environment (highly desirable)Understanding of Australian workplace health and safety processesStrong attention to detailBe a team player who enjoys collaborating with other departments and working together to achieve best practice outcomesWhat we offer our employees: Highly competitive salary packageSupportive team environmentAmazing career growth and opportunitiesOnsite physioEmployee assistance programService recognition programFlexible working arrangementsGrowing national permanent workforce - exceeding 650+ employeesIf you are looking for a great opportunity where you can learn and grow, please apply now.
