Site Event Planner

DESCRIPTIONWe are currently seeking an experienced Site Events Manager to join the business and play a critical role in supporting the General Manager and Fulfillment Center (FC) Operations team for our Robotics Site in Kemps Creek.The successful candidate will be highly organised, extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to handle confidential information, as well as demonstrate the ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities.Please note that the shift structure is based on business needs (Monday to Friday).Working hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with flexibility required for overtime as needed.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics for large-scale events with 250+ attendees.Coordinate with multiple departments and external vendors to ensure seamless event operations.Develop and maintain a database of reliable suppliers, contractors, and temporary staff to support large-scale events.Conduct thorough post-event evaluations, analysing feedback from staff to continuously improve event planning and execution.Compile team goals, track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.Conduct clerical duties, including filing, full office management, responding to emails, and preparing documents.Support calendar management for the general manager and attend leadership meetings, managing actions.Assist with internal communications for associates and leadership across multiple platforms.Think and plan ahead, delegate responsibilities appropriately, and manage time effectively.Serve as a representative on department team-building and improvement activities.A day in the lifeAs an events planner at Amazon's bustling warehouse, no two days are ever the same.

Between decorating event spaces and facilitating interactive activities, the role will involve multitasking to ensure everything runs smoothly.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Microsoft Office products and applications.Work 40 hours/week, with overtime as required.2+ years of administrative support experience in a related field.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks while maintaining commitment to deadlines.Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, peers, and outside contacts.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCompleted Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 2+ years of Amazon experience as a full-time employee.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Passion and enthusiasm for the Amazon vision.Strong organisational and communication skills, team-oriented philosophy, and problem-solving skills.High levels of integrity and discretion.ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY:In the spirit of reconciliation, Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community.
