The Role Ventia is seeking a standout HVAC Technician to join their dynamic Defence Team stationed at RAAF Base Pearce in Bullsbrook, WA. As a crucial member of the Estate Upkeep team, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining, repairing, and optimizing facilities and advanced HVAC systems.
This isn't your typical 9-to-5 job—it's a full-time, permanent role with weekday hours from 07:00am to 03:30pm, plus ample opportunities for overtime. Imagine cruising to work in your own company-provided Tool of Trade vehicle, ensuring you arrive ready to tackle any challenge the day presents.
The payrate for this position is $42.72 per hour.
To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check. 1x Rostered Day Off (RDO) per monthCompany car provided for work-related travel requirementsVentia offers you a flexible, supportive and inclusive work environment where you matterThis role comes with the added security of being offered as a permanent positionKey duties, but not limited to: Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systemsContribute to overall site maintenancePerform reactive and planned preventative maintenance and testing as required via Mobility (iPad)Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services promptly and efficientlyEnsure inspection results are recorded online with objective quality evidence standardsProvide flexibility to meet the demands of out of hours and call out work as requiredSkills & Experience: WA Driver's LicenceTrade qualification in Refrigeration and Air ConditioningExperience in a HVAC role across residential, commercial and industrial work environmentsWillingness to travel occasionally to the different metro & remote defence sites as requiredThe Company Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
