This critical leadership role will oversee the operational management of all services within the portfolio, ensuring effective, efficient, and compliant service delivery to those impacted by family and domestic violence.This position will also provide specialist knowledge and expertise in Family Violence practice to lead the development and implementation of national service delivery plans frameworks and practice that ensures innovative and client centred service delivery.Reporting to the General Manager, this is a permanent, full-time position based in New Town and Derwent North, Tasmania.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 8.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management: Manage Governance, Risk Management and mitigation, contractual and accreditation requirements.Team Leadership: Lead the development of strong, resilient, and qualified teams of social service professionals who are equipped to deliver high-quality services.
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture to enhance team performance.Funding and Contract Management: Identify and pursue new funding opportunities to support and expand service delivery.National project management: Create National Frameworks for implementing the Model of Care.
Lead reviews of key aspects of service delivery across the national landscape.
Establish and integrate national-level practice partnerships within the Family Violence Stream.Sector involvement: Collaborate with colleagues nationally and across service streams to contribute to national policy development and advocacy efforts.
Represent the organization in meetings and forums within the sector.You will haveExperience in active membership in community or government bodies within the Family Violence Sector.A Working with Vulnerable People Check.Degree in Social Work or a related field.
