Presenting a globally inspired Modern Mediterranean menu, it delivers quality food of a fine dining standard within a social dining, atmosphere driven, high-volume environment.
The venue offers a social dining experience that caters for people who are dressed up on a night out for a very special occasion, as well as people who have walked in straight from the beach.
The a la carte menu is also complemented with an all-day menu that consists of traditional Napoli style pizzas and bar bites, representing all corners of the globe.
It's not just about food, Miss Moneypenny's is internationally recognised for serving award-winning international standard cocktails in a fun, friendly, relaxed environment.
The Broadbeach venue also includes an exciting exclusive private dining room seating up to 70 guests.
About the roles
We're recruiting multiple passionate and motivated Chefs of all levels, Cooks, Commis Chefs, Chef de Parties and Pizza Chefs to join our kitchen team on either a full time, part time, or casual basis.
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for food preparation and presentation, providing support to other kitchen team members, assembling ingredients for cooking, and general cleaning duties within the kitchen.
Main duties and responsibilities
Prepare and present menu items to a high level maintaining excellent presentation standards Assist with menu preparation and ensure adequate supplies are available for service Produce items within the cost margins specified Keep all working areas clean and tidy in adherence to all HACCP principles Follow food hygiene and health and safety procedures Liaise with front of house employees regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes Supervise the kitchen in the absence of more senior chefs, delegating duties and responsibilities as necessary Strong time management and communication skills Ability to work alone and as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts Required skills and experience
Certificate III or IV in Professional Cookery (not essential but desirable) A desire to learn and develop new skills High standards of food preparation, food presentation and food service Experience in a large commercial kitchen is desirable Flexible across a 24/7 rotating roster Can communicate effectively and work cooperatively Project a professional image through personal presentation and interpersonal skills What we offer
