About the teamOur Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do.
With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.
About the roleThe tax team engages with all areas of the Coles business.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with internal and external stakeholders across tax and the broader Coles business.
You will also be responsible for:
Preparation of income tax returnsPreparation of year end and half year accountsResearch, analysis and preparation of tax advicePreparing responses to revenue authority requests for informationContract review and adviceEngagement with numerous stakeholders including business categories and group functionsEngagement and management of external advisersEngagement with revenue authoritiesExecution of the Coles group governance proceduresLead change on automation and improvement processesAbout you and your skillsWe are looking for a Senior Tax Advisor with experience working in a chartered accounting firm, in-house or the ATO.
You will be able to partner effectively with multiple stakeholders and be a trusted advisor in your space.
You will also have:
