Overview
The Renewable Energy Engineer will play a vital role in advancing Australia's commitment to sustainable energy. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on solar, wind, and geothermal systems. This position requires a strong understanding of local energy markets and regulatory frameworks, as well as a passion for contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future. You will work with diverse teams to create solutions that not only meet technical specifications but also align with environmental goals and community needs.
Key Responsibilities

System Design: Create and optimize renewable energy systems to meet Australian standards and project specifications.
Project Development: Collaborate on project plans, timelines, and budgets; assist with proposals for government funding and incentives.
Technical Analysis: Conduct simulations and performance evaluations to optimize system efficiency and output.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian regulations, including environmental laws and energy standards; assist in securing necessary permits.
Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation and commissioning of renewable systems; develop maintenance schedules.
Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders, including clients and government agencies.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Relevant experience in renewable energy projects within Australia is preferred.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst), and effective communication abilities.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., NABERS, Clean Energy Council accreditation) are advantageous.

Working Conditions
Mix of office work and field visits; travel to project sites may be required.
