About This RoleThis role will be responsible to the C-27J Key Account Manager (KAM) and will report to the C-27J Lead Instructor for the provision of training, administrative and subject matter expertise support applicable to Spartan Pilot Initial Qualification (PIQ) Course, secondary upgrade courses and current training, as well as liaising with other resident instructional staff as required.This role will be based at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD.The role we are offering youConduct mission briefs and debriefs as appropriateDeliver simulator instruction to C-27J pilot studentsEngage with simulator maintenance technicians to report identified simulator issuesContribute to the development and continuous improvement of training material that supports syllabus delivery.Our ideal candidate has:Minimum 2 years Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience in an aircrew training environmentHave a minimum 1000 command hours on multi engine, multi crew and tactical transport aircraft C-27J, C-130J or similar aircraftExperience as a flight simulator instructor will be highly regardedHave, or ability to gain, a Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or recognised experience.What CAE offers you:Opportunity to make a considerable impact on Australian defence and securityExciting career paths in a truly global businessAccess to a generous ADF Reserve Service PolicySecurity requirementsAs the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.ApplicationsIf this role fits what you are looking for and you believe you have the necessary skills and experience, click 'Apply Now' and attach your resume.Position TypeRegularCAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
