With 214 comfortable rooms with kitchenettes, smart TV, iron, air conditioning, luggage storage, 24-hour front desk, complimentary Wi-Fi and parking. Located inside Bankstown Sports Club, our guests have access to 14 on-site restaurants, including a rooftop bar, 8 meeting spaces, a gym, a convenience store, and a kids centre.Job DescriptionMercure Sydney Bankstown is looking for a Part Time Guest Service Agent to join our team.What will you be doing?Deliver service excellence, from check in to check out and everywhere in betweenOften be the first point of contact for guests and visitorsComplete a wide variety of front office tasks, which will ensure that every day is different from selling the hotel's facilities to taking reservations and maintaining guest accountsProvide passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to external and internal guests at all timesAnswer all telephone calls in a professional manner according to brand standardReconcile cashier floats at the completion of each shift.Ensure guests who are not ALL - Accor Live Limitless members are briefed on features and benefits and signed up to the loyalty programAssisting our guests at our self check in kiosksQualificationsYour Skills and experience include:Previous customer service experience, preferably in a Hotel environmentStrong knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office and preferably in OperaThe ability to work under pressure, multitask and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues is requiredStrong communication skills and pride in personal presentationHave a natural ability to surprise guests with your authentic guest service, setting you apart from the restA genuine customer service focus and a strong dedication to always making our guest's smile during their stayFlexibility to work across a 7 day roster including morning and evening shiftsAdditional InformationAn opportunity to Work Your Way, Learn Your Way and experience Benefits Your Way at AccorAbility to really contribute and feel pride in knowing you have made a difference to the greater good of the Hotel OperationWork alongside passionate industry professionalsBe mentored by experienced Accor Hospitality professionals who want to see you succeed
