About UsHitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.The OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified HV Electrician to join our team as a Product Support Advisor. This permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company. Working an 8/6 roster from the Goldfields, you will work as part of a team and drive the reliability and availability of the mobile fleet while keeping an impeccable safety record.Main responsibilities include:Organising and providing feedback on any reliability related issues or concerns regarding the large fleet of Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) mining equipment onsiteProviding assistance to Service Personnel and Parts and Service Advisors as required, helping with parts and technical concernsIdentify areas for improvement and work with the customer to address any shortcomingsEscalate all issues to relevant teams and within a timely mannerAt all times maintain an open communication and good working relationship with customers, peers and other departmentsEnsure that all interactions with internal and external customers and stakeholders is professional and courteous as you are required to continuously 'Promote & Enhance' Hitachi's promise of Total Customer SatisfactionTo be successful in this role you will have:Relevant HV trade qualificationsLooking for the next step in your HV careerPrevious experience in a leadership role with frontline operational experience with the desire to develop, influence and motivate a team of operational staff (Desirable)Working knowledge of planning and scheduling with the ability to deliver in tight timeframesDemonstrated background experience with Hitachi mobile equipment will be highly regardedGood communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationshipsSafety focus and abide by site safety processesBenefitsWe are offering:Permanent Full Time Position in a leading OEM with long term job securityCompetitive pay rate + company biannual bonuses $$$Qantas points/status credits for site travelReimbursements paid for transport to and from home to airport, or airport parkingBrand new HP Laptop provided to new employees – no more paper timesheets190hr annual leave & 76 hours personal leave per annumRelocation assistance if requiredOpportunity to work on the entirety of the Hitachi range, including a new fleet of trucks and excavatorsExclusive staff discounts on Medibank Health Cover and Hitachi appliances, and other products & servicesOEM training and opportunities for upskilling with access to the latest technologiesSupportive mentors who value your input in finding new and improved ways to achieving successCareer progression in a leading OEMBe a part of a leading OEM which genuinely values and ensures everyone is happy and safe at work
