We focus on building great connections that work long-term.The Opportunity:One of our clients in Sydney is looking for a Joinery Drafter to lead the drafting and take on some project management responsibilities for high-end residential joinery projects. If you're skilled in creating detailed technical drawings, enjoy project management, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role might be the perfect fit for you.Key Responsibilities:Create detailed technical drawings for custom joinery projects, adhering to client specifications.Ensuring design work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.Work closely with clients, architects, and internal teams to keep projects on track and address any design or technical challenges.Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring materials and workmanship meet project standards.Skills and Experience Required:Proven experience in drafting, ideally within joinery, carpentry, or related fields.Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Cabinet Vision; experience with similar programs such as AutoCAD, Pytha, Microvellum, or others is also acceptable.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project resources effectively.Experience reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.Hands-on experience in carpentry or joinery is a plus.Benefits:Competitive salary package based on your experience.Work on exciting high-end projects that let you showcase your skills.Be part of a supportive, collaborative team.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.Join Us:If you're ready to step into a joinery drafter role with a dynamic team in the joinery industry, apply today We're eager to hear from you and discuss how you can grow with VP Recruit.
