Key Stage 1 Class Teacher
Primary School based in Leeds (South) February 2025 start date (after half-term) Full-time contract Seeking Teachers with 3+ years of experience NextGen Teachers are currently working in partnership with a two-form entry Primary School in South Leeds (LS11) who are seeking to recruit a full-time Key Stage 1 Class Teacher for a contract in the new year.
This is a diverse school with over 20+ languages spoken and the school prides itself on the diversity and inclusion of all pupils.
This role will be to teach a mixed class of Year 1 and Year 2 for a minimum of a 1-year contract or permanent for the right teacher.
There is a strong emphasis on Speech and Language and Phonics across the school as many of the children at this school are new to England/English.
The school uses the Read Write Inc scheme, and teachers who are familiar with this scheme would be preferable.
Teachers applying for this position MUST have:
Qualified Teaching Status in the UK A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the UK (M3+) Both ECT years completed Experience teaching in Year 1 and Year 2 Extensive experience with Phonics screening and testing Experience with KS1 SATs DBS on the update service 2x professional references If you have all of the above and are interested in this position, please contact Charley Alexander on the contact details below ASAP.
