We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Perth based team, working out of our Kwinana Head Office.
Working on a wide variety of project types including Dewatering, Civil Construction and SMP, we are looking for a well-rounded estimator who is willing to throw their hand at anything.
Due to the nature of our works, this role is ideally suited for someone who is experienced in working on regional civil construction and mining projects. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU: Career progression opportunitiesFlexible working arrangementsA career with a long term, family-owned businessABOUT THE ROLE: Report to the Management team on tender preparation & submissionsDetermine scope of work and specific terms and conditionsPrepare and coordinate the subcontract & supplier components required for tender submissionsObtain quotes for the provision of necessary materials and servicesUndertake accurate material take-offsAble to prioritize, manage time well, multi-task, troubleshootAccurately calculate man-hour estimates, mobilisation and demobilisation costs, and plant and equipment required to specifically execute projectsAssist with construction scheduling and planning where requiredCollate material take-offs and job costs into clear, well-structured spreadsheets or databasesPartake in tender reviews with senior management and adjust costings as requiredABOUT YOU: Minimum three (3) years estimating experience in civil construction, dewatering and/or SMPAbility to plan and resource manning requirementsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills including confident stakeholder engagement capacityHighly experienced Microsoft Office skills - particularly with ExcelExperience with Expert Estimator - desirable but not essentialAble to complete and pass a thorough pre-employment medical and DASCommitted to safety, problem solving and working as part of a TeamIf you are interested in joining our team hit the apply button below to take the next step in your career.
