Your role within our dedicated program name will allow you to:
Plan and implement the STEAM model of learning with young people.Use your community engagement experience and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.Facilitate group activities with young people, with a person-centred and strength-based lens.Joining us, you'll be part of a team dedicated to supporting young people through self-directed learning to develop their passions through projects that inspire self-expression, leveraging the STEAM model to empower young people.
We are offering a casual position for approximately 15 hours per week in our Clubhouse program in Lismore.
This role is a great opportunity to step into a role within a creative hub for young people to engage in the STEAM learning model of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

The successful candidate will have:
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science, social welfare, health promotion, or similar.Experience providing high-quality customer-centred group and/or individual support.Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships.Demonstrated experience in working with young people in social work/education settings, planning, coordinating, facilitating, and evaluating group programs for young people, delivering life skills and STEAM subjects (i.e., working with interactive technology, such as robotics, electronics, etc.
).Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management, and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines.Demonstrated experience in maintaining professional boundaries while engaging in person-centred work.We are proud to announce that we have received recognition as an accredited Great Workplace by WRK+.
