Parents are invited to participate in excursions, reading activities, and cultural events, creating a collaborative, family-oriented atmosphere.Your Role & Impact As a Casual Educator, you will:
Provide nurturing, high-quality care that supports each child's unique development.Collaborate with a passionate, resilient team to create engaging activities that encourage children to learn, play, and explore.Foster a safe, inclusive environment where all children feel valued and understood.Build meaningful connections with children, families, and colleagues to create a strong sense of community and belonging.Role Requirements To be successful in this role, you will:
Be available for shifts between 6:30am - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday.Hold or be actively working towards a minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent).Have a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).Hold, or be willing to obtain, certifications in First Aid, Child Protection, Red Nose, and Food Safety training.Have a working knowledge and understanding of Child Safe Standards.Demonstrate a working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).Show a genuine passion for the early childhood sector and enjoy communicating with and building trusted relationships with children, families, teammates, and the community.Perks That Make a Difference Training & growth - we support your ongoing learning and growth.24/7 access to Sonder with resources for health, safety, and wellbeing, ensuring peace of mind for you and your family.Enjoy reduced fees at any Mayfield Centre.Every new educator is welcomed with a mentor to provide support and guidance.Earn rewards for helping grow our team by referring qualified candidates.At Balnarring ELC, you're more than just an educator – you are part of a team dedicated to making a real difference in children's lives.
